Drum
Aiken's Drum, based
in West Yorkshire, has been playing in pubs and clubs since 1977 and has
a strong following in the north of England. They play a wide variety of
traditional and contemporary folk music, blending John Birkby's powerful
and melodious voice with skilful and creative accompaniments and harmonies
from the other two members Ian Fairbairn (ex Hedgehog Pie and Jack the
Lad) and Paul Flannery.
