Initiated by Martyn Wyndham-Read in 2001, the first Song Links project brought together English Traditional songs and their Australian variants, now back with a second collection Song Links 2 concentrates this time on English Traditional Songs and their American Variants. Each CD contains an abundance of fine performances from some of England and America’s finest singers, including The Copper Family, John Kirkpatrick and Bruce Molsky. The double CD is handsomely packaged with booklet notes penned by Shirley Collins.
