A musical and filmic journey through the spectacular scenery and cultural riches of the Wester Ross Coigach peninsula.

Mairearad Green is fast gaining a reputation as one of Scotland’s most talented young composers. Mairearad was commissioned by Celtic Connections New Voices series to compose this work, which is accompanied by stunning visuals of Mairearad’s hometown, Achiltibuie in Wester Ross.

This is a CD and DVD. The CD is a live recording of the first ever performance of ‘Passing Places’ at the Celtic Connections Festival, 2009. Musicians include Mairearad Green with Anna Massie, Hamish Napier, Donald Hay, Duncan Lyall, Peter Tickell, Adam Sutherland and Adam Bulley.
