DUNCAN WOOD & CATHAL MCCONNELL - AULD SPRINGS GIES NAE PRICE Irish whistle and flute maestro Cathal McConnell, perhaps best known as a founder member of The Boys of The Lough, has joined forces with Scottish fiddler extraordinaire Duncan Wood to produce an album of tunes and songs from the great Celtic tradition.

ROBB JOHNSON - MARGARET THATCHER: MY PART IN HER DOWNFALL A recording of 20 of Johnson’s older songs, including “The Herald Of Free Enterprise”, “Rosa’s Lovely Daughters”, “Captain Swing”, “Boxing Day”, and the agit-prop kiddies singalong “The Animals Song” (the original single was nearly an NME Single Of The Week!) for which he first became well-known, or notorious, depending on your political point of view.

NIAMH NI CHARRA - SUGACH SAMH / HAPPY OUT This is the second album from Killarney musician Niamh Ní Charra, and showcases her impressive talent and versatility with a wide-ranging selection of tunes on fiddle and concertina, as well as songs in Irish and English.

A L LLOYD - BRAMBLE BRIARS & BEAMS OF THE SUN A L Lloyd, was one of the architects of the UK Folk Revival in the 1950s. In the early 1950s he set about recording English versions of the great Folk Ballads to be found in Francis J Child’s five volume monumental work ‘English & Scottish Popular Ballads’. The complete set of recordings is on this double CD collection.

DAVID KOSKY & DAMIEN O'KANE - THE MYSTERY INCH Damien is a creative and exciting musician and singer. His banjo playing in particular has led him to being regarded as one of the finest Irish players on the scene today. David is another regular face on the UK and Ireland trad Irish scene, and is in demand both for his cross genre playing abilities and his impeccable guitar skills. This is a tremendously skilled and really fun album - give it a whirl. It’s instruMENTAL!
