Saoirse Mhor - Ghosts Of Tomorrow
Saoirse Mhór is an Irish singer songwriter resident in southern Germany near Heidelberg. Often found singing with Celtic band, Fleadh, he features on their recordings (most recently on The Peacock’s Feather). After his two previous solo albums, Skin and Thursday Asks, this, his third studio album, shows his performance qualities and his excellent talent for song writing in a collection of newly written songs delivered in a laconic manner with a semi-acoustic folk / ambient setting featuring guitars, fiddle, bass, percussion and backing vocals.

His songs regularly reflect a view from the harder and darker sides of life and often show the struggles and suffering of humanity, as in Hill Of Plenty and Sleeping And Working. The title track, Ghosts Of Tomorrow, and The Thief recall the late David McWilliams in their articulate lyricism while The White Birds poignantly addresses the topic of separation from loved ones. He also revisits The Cleggan Bay Disaster, the title cut of a previous Fleadh album.

Saoirse’s songwriting has already led to him being nominated at The German Rock and Pop Awards in the past years and Ghosts Of Tomorrow will surely bring more new admirers his way.
