All of the tracks on ‘A Shropshire Lad’ are field recordings made in the pub, in his home or at a folk club and are presented here on CD for the first time. There has obviously been an enormous amount of research gone into this project evident in the extensive biographical sleeve notes included within, making this an essential collection certainly worth owning.
