Anne Neilson was introduced to traditional music in 1957 at the second meeting of the late Norman Buchan's 'Ballads Club' in Rutherglen Academy, one of the most vital of the crucibles in which the Scottish Folk revival was forged. She has been singing ever since - for the past twenty years as a member of 'Stramash'. |
