Formed in 1988 in Dumfries & Galloway, Stravaig have appeared throughout Britain and North America. At home they regularly work in schools tackling the vital job of passing on the tradition to the next generation. Phyllis Martin, Susie Kelly and sisters Jean McMonies and Moira Greenwood create a rich weave of harmony that gives colour to a selection of songs ranging from traditional ballads to music-hall send ups. |
