This is the latest release from the Greentrax label, and provides a great introduction to the artists and songs of an area of Scotland often overlooked by visitors. The majority of the songs on this album are by the late Davy Steele performed by artists such as Ceolbeg, The McCalmans and Malinky. Other great names on this stunning compilation are Robin Laing and Dick Gaughan.
